Candy Warhol is an Irish based Performer and Visual Artist. Currently based in Limerick, Candy has been performing on the scene for almost two years. Inspired by pop culture, dark glamour,performance art and the more sinister sides of pop music, Candy is a queen with a twist.

In September 2010 Candy created and  launched ‘Le Disko Bloodbath!’, a dark cabaret style club event, which introduced many new acts and DJ’s to the Limerick scene. The club night has been running twice a year ever since. In March 2011 Candy Warhol represented Limerick at the Alternative Miss Ireland in Dublin where she won ‘Best Stunt’ (for exploding and being thrown off the stage) and has since become a regular in the Dublin club scene performing with her drag family at The George and other clubs such as Pantibar every month.

In the last year Candy Warhol has performed regularly in Dublin ,Limerick, Cork, Belfast and will make her debut in London in Summer 2012 at the Alternative Miss London. Candy also runs Gutter Candy, where she interviews the best of the best in drag and fashion and this led to a presenting spot on RTE in 2011. In Summer 2011 Candy began recording her debut EP with various electro and dance producers and the first single will be released this summer along with her first mini collection which is inspired by the dark aspects of alter egos.

Candy will launch a new club night in Limerick that will bring something quite different and new to the scene – March 1st 2012 in Dolan’s (first Thurs of every month).
